Passumpsic River Day and Overnight Tours in the Northeast Kingdom, Vermont

We offer spectacular guided river tours, camping and dinner along the Passumpsic River in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom!

FALL FOLIAGE TOURS

Spend a beautiful New England fall day or weekend enjoying the fall colors from a different perspective.  Instead of speeding by the Northeast Kingdom’s beautiful hillsides at 50 mph, float down the Passumpsic and Connecticut Rivers over a day or two and really take in the sights.  Let our guides show you what our river has to offer.

There are three options for paddlers to choose from. First is the quick fall tour that takes guests down river from St. Johnsbury to Passumpsic.  The tour takes about an hour and a half to complete and costs $15.00 per person.

The second option is a full day color tour.  Guests will float about 8 miles through the most beautiful river valley in New England. Guests will be surrounded by the awesome foliage that only Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom can provide.  The tour costs $ 35.00 per person.

The third option is the overnight color tour.  Have a true fall wilderness getaway as you spend the day on the river and the night camping on a private island.  Our guides will get you down river and have dinner and breakfast ready to fill you up after and before you paddle through the most beautiful area in the region.  The cost is $70.00 per person for camping and kayak rental.

Join the PRO guides for an evening on the river.  As you travel down the river you will have ample opportunity to see several species of birds ranging from wood ducks to bald eagles along with the chance of seeing deer, beaver and fox.  The tour costs $30 per boat and departs our shop in Passumpsic on Monday evenings at 5:30pm. PADDLE WEEKEND TOURS

Spend the weekend on the river.  Come spend the night camping on a private island, then paddle down river to one of  our local bed and breakfasts. Several different tour options are available and we are more than willing to customize a tour to your liking.  Call today to set up your tour.  Camping for groups of 6 or more receive a 10% discount and the Inn at Maplemont Farm offers a discount to guests that have paddled with us.
